Check Requirements Before Doing Attempt

Just like other IT certification, CISSP also has few prerequisites that need to be fulfilled so that you can attempt the CISSP Exam. To sit for the CISSP Exam, candidates need to prove that they possess 5 years of working experience in Information Security domain.in addition the experience must be within at least two of the 10 security domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) by (ISC)2. ●        You hold a credential from the (ISC)2-approved list that includes the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), the CompTIA Security+, and the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) professional titles.

Remember that you cannot interconnect two requirements of these categories. For instance, if one holds a bachelor’s degree, that individual is allowed only for one year off from the five-year professional experience requirement.

Do As Much As Preparation You Can

The next step is to obtain the study material for the exam, which is available on the internet. As there are so many topics in the exams, most of the candidates require two study materials at least. For this, the aspirants need to purchase practice papers to make it more convenient for them. Solving those practice papers gives the examinees more confidence and strength to crack the exam.

Qualify the exam

In order to become a certified CISSP, you must pass the CISSP examination with at least 70% marks. So now you are well prepared and all set to crack the exam. This pencil-and-paper exam consists of 250 multiple-choice questions in which you have 6 hours to answer as many of them as you can correctly. Once you qualify the exam successfully, then you will get a soft copy with the notification that you are now a Certified CISSP Expert.
